摘要: Boron in the desalinated water produced by seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) system is one of most challenging issues for drinking or irrigation uses. In recent years, many post-treatment methods and designs boron elimination have emerged attracted lots attention, but only a few cases demonstrated high performance economic efficiency. The main aim this work was to evaluate efficiency removal from using two-pass SWRO employing different RO membranes at Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay, Yellow Sea China. study, HYDRANAUTICS SWC3+ ESPAB were chosen as first second pass membrane, respectively. impact feed properties including temperature, pH, salinity, concentration, operational conditions such pressure on rejection permeate flux determined. addition, relative long term run investigated compared with that uses Filmtec membrane reported literature. Although pilot study experienced more severe lower higher concentrations pressures: all potential negative factors rejection, it still achieved good reduction. results three-month operation indicated that, optimum conditions, Bay stability without anti-scalants produce which has much concentration than World Health Organization (WHO) guideline.
