摘要: A network virtualization layer for an information handling system in which a physical machine coupled to is divided into plurality of logical partitions, each has host residing thereon. In response receiving set command from one the systems specifying data link (layer 2) address, associates address with and forwards packets as destination address. Unicast are forwarded single individual MAC while multicast group may also specify virtual LAN (VLAN) ID, used scope forwarding sharing that VLAN ID.
