摘要: A solid blanket receives a flood layer of very thin (e.g., about 10 μm or less) image receiving UV curable coating, which may be clear, substantially tinted ink. lower viscosity digital ink then printed on top the layer, for example by jetting layer. The sits thicker coating and maintains its location surface tension interaction with coating. combination is partially cured to tacky state at point it transferred print media via conformable pressure nip. Since jetted inks are not responsible directly wetting media, latitude widens greatly. Further, no dampening fluid fountain solution needed aid transfer imaging.
