摘要: Vitamin E and caloric restriction have antioxidant effects in mammals. The aim of this study was to evaluate vitamin supplementation upon insulin secretion glucose homeostasis rats. Male Wistar rats were distributed among the following groups: C, control group fed ad libitum; R, food quantity reduction 40%; CV, supplemented with [30 mg·kg-1·day-1]; RV, food-restricted E. experiments ran for 21 days. Glucose tolerance sensitivity higher RV groups. Insulin stimulated different concentrations lower R groups, compared C CV. In presence secretagogues, CV An increase receptor occurred fat pad muscle tissue groups RV. Levels hepatic phospho-Akt protein while increased group. There a RNA levels hepatocyte growth factor gene degrading enzyme group, Thus, modulate by mechanisms maintain homeostasis.
