SrCe0.95Yb0.05O3−α (SCYb) hollow fibre membrane: Preparation, characterization and performance

摘要: Abstract Mixed proton–hole conducting ceramic, SrCe 0.95 Yb 0.05 O 3− α (SCYb), hollow fibre membranes have been prepared using a combined immersion-induced phase inversion and sintering technique. Two different routes adopted in studying the effect of temperatures on gas-tight properties mechanical strength membranes. By employing longer time heat treatment after thermolysis (i.e. removal organic binders additives at 600 °C), final temperature for preparation SCYb can be reduced. In addition, sintered membrane is found to remarkably improved. The performance terms hydrogen permeation (proton conduction) has also investigated experimentally.
