摘要: Autoimmune progesterone dermatitis is a rare clinical condition in which patients display hypersensitivity to endogenous progesterone. Treatment generally consists ovulation inhibition pharmaceutical agents oophorectomy; other therapies (eg, thalidomide) have also used success. We report case multiforme (EM) induced by patient history past oral contraceptive use. After herpes simplex virus was ruled out an etiologic factor, diagnosis confirmed testing. Results subsequent patch various derivatives were negative. The EM outbreaks suppressed temporarily continuous administration Loestrin (ethinyl estradiol plus norethindrone), increased responsiveness prednisone tapers.
