摘要: Lactate-utilizing butyrate-producers were isolated from human feces and identified based on the sequences of 16S rRNA gene. Anaerostipes caccae strain L2, one seven fecal isolates, was administered to rats with galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) as bifidogenic carbohydrates for stimulating lactate formation in hindgut. Ingestion GOS alone increased concentrations cecal butyrate compared control (P<0.05). Additional administration L2 tended enhance promoting effect (P=0.06) lowered mean value concentration (P=0.32). Consequently, both significantly higher than those (P<0.01 P<0.05, respectively). Significant changes observed other fermentation acids, such succinate, acetate, propionate, depending ingestion L2. Administered retrieved content a rat randomly amplified polymorphic DNA analysis. The results suggest that synbiotic lactate-utilizing alters microbial promotes beneficial including butyrate, gut.
