摘要: PURPOSE: To determine the effect of various methods managing posterior capsule and anterior vitreous on rate capsular opacification in children implanted with chamber intraocular lenses (PC IOL). METHODS: We reviewed charts 20 eyes 15 (1.5-12 years) who underwent primary cataract surgery PC IOL last 5 years. The were managed a variety ways: was left intact, continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis (PCCC)-nine cases without 6 vitrectomy. In 8 optic capture performed, 3 follow-up ranged from 1 to 4.5 years (mean: 2 years). RESULTS: Visually significant secondary developed all intact capsules 4 that PCCC vitrectomy (i.e., bag). optical axis remained clear implantation (with or capture). Initially, also clear, but after months out opacification. CONCLUSIONS: this series only effective method preventing delaying formation infants children.
