摘要: Acute hemolytic anemia associated with cold agglutinins, hypercoagulability of the blood, and multiple organ thromboembolism infarction caused death a 70-year-old woman atypical pneumonia three weeks' duration. Central nervous system involvement was present. At autopsy, Mycoplasma pneumoniae cultured directly from lung tissue bronchial lymph nodes on artificial medium. Intravascular hemolysis thrombosis were related to infection M which apparently did not respond late administration ordinarily adequate doses tetracycline corticosteroids.
