摘要: The detection of Clostridioides difficile in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients is a common occurrence, part due to the standard clinical practice testing for presence C. during acute IBD exacerbations. Given overlap between infections and exacerbations (ie, increased frequency loose stools, abdominal pain), it hard differentiate versus colonizations with underlying who test positive difficile. Here, we review epidemiology, presentation, risk factors, diagnosis, treatment, outcomes tests.
