摘要: The incidence and significance of intracranial hypertension in head injury has been a controversial issue. DANDY (6) among others believed that brain swelling increased pressure (ICP) were the rule most common causes death head-injured patients. In contrast, BROWDER MEYERS (3), who measured lumbar subarachnoid several times same patient, observed marked infrequently; many patients died did not have ICP any time during course their illness. Although these contradictory observations made more than 40 years ago, directly continuously large number past decade, there is still disagreement investigators on frequency its contribution to morbidity mortality.
