Replacement of R22 in tube-and-shell condensers: experiments and simulations

摘要: An investigation of the change in condenser overall heat transfer coefficient when replacing R22 with one three mixtures R407C, R404A and R410B was made, both experimentally theoretically. Measurements have been carried out on a full-scale test plant consisting horizontal shell-side condenser. According to measurements decrease for non-azeotropic mixture R407C very large, up 70% compared R22, while near-azeotropic less than 15%. Simulations were done comprehensive computer program, calculating condensation an approximate method including correction mass resistance. The calculation model not able predict this large degradation mixture, predictions agreed rather well pure fluid mixtures.
