摘要: A process for removing hydrogen sulfide, other sulfur-containing compounds and/or sulfur and mercury from a gas stream contaminated with mercury, sulfide or both. The method comprises the step of selective oxidation (H 2 S) in containing one more oxidizable components than H S to generate elemental (S) mixture dioxide (SO ). generated reacts mercuric are removed by co-condensation.
