摘要: C1, the first component of classical complement pathway, is a calcium-dependent complex consisting three distinct glycoproteins, subcomponents C1q, C1r and C1s. Binding C1 to activators mediated mainly by C1q induces activation proenzyme its proteinase form \( {\rm{C1\bar r}} \), which in turn cleaves activates Subcomponent {\rm{C\bar 1s}} \) responsible for specific cleavage components C2 C41. Activation triggered interaction with antibody moiety antibody-antigen complexes, but can also be induced antigen independent, direct binding such as bacteria2,3 viruses4. Thus, not only unit pathway complement, fulfil recognition function.
