摘要: Bioremediation of surface waters contaminated with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) is a serious problem, often limited by the low bioavailability contaminants as result their aqueous solubility. In this study, we studied influence hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HPCD) addition on biodegradation dissolved pyrene in solution. Five types unidentified bacterial strains were used concentration under its solubility limit. The reduction content was monitored during process using synchronous fluorimetry. presence HPCD changed rate microorganisms due to formation an inclusion complex between and HPCD. hydrophobicity emulsifying activity relative biodegrading capacity investigated. results indicated that important factors can process. strongly correlated toward solubilizing agents or organized media.
