摘要: The Mouse Phenome Database was originally conceived as a platform for the integration of phenotype data collected on defined collection 40 inbred mouse strains—the “phenome panel.” This model provided an impetus community sharing, and readily achieved through reproducible genotypes phenome panel strains. Advances in development populations lead to expanded role encompass new strain panels crosses. recent introduction Collaborative Cross Diversity Outbred mice, which share extensive pool genetic variation from eight founder strains, presents opportunities challenges resources. A wide variety molecular clinical phenotypes are being across genotypes, tissues, ages, environmental exposures, interventions, treatments. provides framework retrieval, integration, analysis, display these data, enabling them be evaluated context existing standard Primary supported by metadata protocols procedures. These centrally curated ensure accuracy reproducibility provide consistent formats. represents established growing resource encourages submissions resources, investigators integrate into their studies phenotypic consequences variation.
