Synthesis and Characterization of Lead Zirconate Titanate Fibers Prepared by the Sol–Gel Method: The Role of the Acid

摘要: Lead zirconate titanate (PZT) fibers are prepared by the sol-gel method using acetic acid and methacrylic to control pH of PZT precursor sol. The chemical evolution precursors, thermal crystallization behavior gel fibers, microstructure samples with without addition analyzed compared. It is observed that properties improved when acids used; particularly longer ceramic (4-5 cm) obtained after heat treatment a single perovskite phase at 550°C acid. mechanisms effect on strengthening discussed.
