摘要: In this paper, we elaborate an Institutional Analysis and Reconfiguration Framework centered around the ‘action arena’ theoretical approach. We develop framework to analyze institutional reconfiguration enhance sustainability, operationalize it using research methods which focus on documentation of contexts through extensive literature review interviews experts in forest policy. apply examine forestry institutions, address governance, investigate their effect socio-economic environmental performances Ukraine. The paper draws state affairs post-transition forestry, its difficulties, new prospects for economic reforms. challenges opportunities suggest key remedies prospective ways forward. Results show that a combination path dependency with rigidity institutions slow pace political reforms is major obstacle implementing decisions regarding sustainable A social practices required, as well development capabilities awareness raising amongst relevant stakeholders, realize problems, envision alternative futures, challenge existing shift power relations create norms, rules, decision-making arrangements. way towards sustainability largely goes changing human dimension changes reflected uptake innovation.
