摘要: Abstract Microbial resistance to the antimicrobials in standard use is becoming more prevalent. A historical perspective frames further discussion. Bacterial most common, but has been identified fungi, viruses, and parasites. Resistance a complex phenomenon that involves microorganism, environment, patient—separately interactively. may be characteristic of microbe before exposure given drug or arise as consequence therapy. Mechanisms antibiotics are discussed. Antibiotic considered both hospital community settings, ecosystems separate yet blending, major organisms demonstrating significant problems presented. review existing guidelines, strategies, plans for addressing some recommendations conclude this review.
