摘要: In the adult organism angiogenesis is generally rare and usually confined to pathological conditions. However, one marked exception this female reproductive tract. both ovary uterus, there cyclic growth regression of specialized tissues that necessitates vascular structures. These events are coordinated by steroid hormones, but it now increasingly recognized local effectors mediate their actions. Thus tract permits study blood vessels in a normal physiological setting. This obviously importance biology, also relevant generally.
