摘要: Background and methods Risk factors for recurrence of Crohn's disease the evidence progress in reducing following resection were reviewed. A Medline based litcraturc revicw was carried out. Results conclusion Only smoking has been confirmed as a significant adverse risk factor recurrence. Evidence differing rates fibrostenosing perforating is inconclusive, but such classification along with endoscopic findings may have place analysis therapcutic trials. Minimal resectional surgery clearing only macroscopic discasc seems to be justified, no clear benefits from different anastomotic techniques. Recent trials offer encouraging usefulness 5-aminosalicylic acid, particularly higher-dose regimens started early after resection, although long-term are uncertain. The oral steroid, budesonide, offers potent treatment minimal side-effects, its prevention presently weak.
