Impact of the chirp and the chromatic dispersion on the high capacity single wavelength channel PolMux transmission in the 1310 nm wavelength domain

摘要: In the following work, optimization of a high bit rate single wavelength channel PolMux transmission system working in 1310 nm domain, is presented. Demonstrated method utilizes interplay between chirp effect an electroabsorption modulator and chromatic dispersion optical fibre. By means numerical simulations it shown, that value parameter α can significantly change maximum allowable accumulated from +60 ps/nm for = 0 to +100 -0.7. Conducted experiments show data 1321.2 1311.5 decrease related power penalty 2×40 Gbit/s experiment with 38 km SSMF as well 2×50 2×56 25 SSMF. Presented be utilized increase distance low complexity systems like Ethernet.
