Preparation and anti-oxidation properties of Si(O)C coated carbon-bonded carbon fibre composites

摘要: A protective Si(O)C coating on the surface of carbon fibres carbon-bonded fibre (CBCF) composites was fabricated using a sol–gel method dimethoxydimethylsilane and methyltrimethoxysilane as precursors. The influence preparation temperature pyrolysis behavior siloxane gel, microstructure oxidation resistance coated CBCF are discussed. Results indicate that uniform dense SiOC glass with thickness 500–700 nm is obtained at 1200 °C it has lower roughness parameters 2.4 3.34 for mean root square roughness, respectively, accompanying good interface bonding state matrix. exhibit superior in range 600 to 800 by encapsulating carbon, their activation energy 41.47% higher than those pristine ones.
