摘要: The present paper investigates whether the processing of emotion language in context a second (L2) entails motor simulations and simulation models extend to negation also for L2. Participants were exposed sentences L2 describing emotional expressions while facial muscle activity was continuously measured. Sentences mapped either directly upon zygomatic (e.g., “I am smiling”) or did not frowning”), presented affirmative negative form. Similarly studies involving first (L1), activated when reading relevant muscle. In contrast, differently from what previously observed L1, form (“I lead relaxation/inhibition These results comprehension but they provide important constraints contribute debate about grounding abstract concrete concepts.
