Significant Association Between MTHFR C677T Polymorphism and Thyroid Cancer Risk: Evidence from a Meta-Analysis

摘要: Background: Many studies were published to assess the associations of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) C677T polymorphism with thyroid diseases, including cancer, but results controversial. Methods: A comprehensive search was performed in Pubmed, Embase, and Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM) databases or investigating MTHFR diseases. Odds ratios (OR) 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) used possible associations. Results: Nine a total 2421 individuals finally included into meta-analysis.
