摘要: Using [14C]2-deoxyglucose autoradiography, we have studied the effects of systemically administeredl-DOPA (10, 25 and 50 mg/kg s.c.) on regional cerebral glucose utilization (RCGU) in rats with unilateral substantia nigra lesions. In comparison lesioned treated saline, lesioned-DOPA demonstrated contralateral turning RCGU changes both ipsilateral brain regions.l-DOPA treatment markedly increased entopeduncular nucleus (EP) pars reticulata (SNr), cell groups that receive direct striatal input function as major outflow pathways corpus activity. contrast,l-DOPA did not alter globus pallidus (GP), supporting thesis dopamine (DA) has different to GP compared EP SNr. Moderate increases were observed subthalamic (STN), lateral midbrain reticular formation (LMRF), deep layers superior colliculus (DLSC), all regions which projections from GP, or SNr.l-DOPA decreased habenular (LHN) LHN, suggest are mediated via altered neuronal activity striatum EP. The results administeredl-DOPA, after conversion DA brain, interacts supersensitive receptors DA-depleted selectively activate efferent pathways. Furthermore, data LMRF DLSC functionally activated duringl-DOPA induced support hypothesis nigroreticular nigrocollicular physiologic significance expression
