摘要: Background Hantaan virus is a major zoonotic pathogen that causesing hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS). Although HFRS pathogenesis has not been entirely elucidated, the importance of host-related immune responses in widely recognized. CD163, monocyte and macrophage-specific scavenger receptor plays vital function hosts can reduce inflammation, shed during activation as soluble CD163 (sCD163). The aim this study was to investigate pathological significance sCD163 patients HFRS. Methods Blood samples were collected from 81 hospitalized Tangdu Hospital October 2011 January 2014 15 healthy controls. plasma levels measured using sandwich ELISA, relationship between disease severity analyzed. Furthermore, expression 3 monocytes subset analyzed by flow cytometry. Results The results demonstrated acute phase significantly higher than convalescent stage controls (P<0.0001). severe/critical group those mild/moderate A Spearman correlation analysis indicated positively correlated white blood cell, serum creatine, urea nitrogen levels, while they negatively platelet patients. subsets altered stage. Though within increased stage, highest level observed CD14++CD16+ when compared other subsets. Conclusion sCD163 may be progression patients; however, underlying mechanisms should explored further.
