摘要: Anti-angiogenic therapy has been demonstrated to increase progression-free survival in patients with many different solid cancers. Unfortunately, the benefit overall is modest and rapid emergence of drug resistance a significant clinical problem. Over last decade, several mechanisms have identified decipher resistance. There multitude changes within tumor microenvironment (TME) response anti-angiogenic that offers new therapeutic opportunities. In this review, we compile results from contemporary studies related adaptive TME development therapy. These include preclinical models emerging resistance, dynamic hypoxia signaling stromal cells during treatment, novel strategies overcome by targeting TME.
