摘要: Abstract The bronchodilating effect of magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) was studied in ten asthmatic patients with moderate to severe airway obstruction. Two grams MgSO4 or saline double-blind crossover design administered IV for 20 minutes (0.40 mmol/min) and forced expiratory capacity volume one second (FEV1) were at intervals. Only the end infusion did FEV1 increase significantly (109% initial values). short lasting far less than that observed after salbutamol.
