摘要: Macrocylic conformation of permethylated cyclodextrins and the geometry their inclusion complexes were examined on basis X-ray data three α-cyclodextrin two β-cyclodextrin complexes. The host macrocyclic ring is remarkably distorted owing to steric hindrance involving methyl groups inability form intramolecular hydrogen bonds. guest molecules are included within cavity, but position orientation quite different from those found in corresponding cyclodextrin
