摘要: The present work describes an investigation of a hydrometallurgical process for the recovery mercury from spent silver oxide button cells. cell paste was leached in nitric acid to solubilize silver, and zinc. optimum leaching conditions, which is entirely converted Hg2+ ions and, therefore, does not co-precipitate with chloride during treatment potassium solution, were 1.0 M HNO3, 45° C, 1 hour 200 rpm. After removed cemented out zinc powder efficiency greater than 99%. In cementation experiments, amount powder, shaking rate, temperature solution pH investigated detail. (%) increased as amounts increased. Zinc hydroxide precipitated waste by addition sodium hydroxide. Zn(OH)2 precipitate then oxide. proposed proven be simple, straightforward environmentally friendly.
