摘要: Background: Eremostachys laciniata is known as "Chelle-Daghi" in Iran and its rhizomes are used an emollient to relieve rheumatoid arthritis. Objective: A phytochemical study was performed on 15 populations of qualify the variations. Methods: Plants collected from their natural habitats dried E. were milled then Soxhlet-extracted by MeOH, total phenols determined calorimetrically Folin-ciocalteau reagent iridoid glycosides measured TLC method. Results: The results MeOH extracts showed that highest amount with 14.85 gr/plant obtained Areshtanab population. had a significant effect phenolic concentrations (P < 0.001) 0.281 mg GAE/g DW higher levels than other populations. iridoids about 11 components. Cluster analysis using Ward's method detected studied separated into three different groups. Conclusion: In summary, values Areshtanab, Malek-Kian, Til considered indicate heterogeneity diversity between populations, which could be domesticate develop breeding programs.
