摘要: The linearity and absolute detection efficiency of several different plastic scintillator‐phototube combinations have been determined for photon energies between 1 10 keV. Fluorescent x‐ray techniques were used to provide monochromatic beams which allowed impinge on the scintillator or, alternately, a proportional counter monitor. Indications obtained nonlinear photoelectron/photon response photons having less than few Clearly behavior was conversion efficiencies expressed as photoelectrons/keV energy absorbed.
