摘要: To stabilize copper-laden sludge using alumina-based ceramic raw materials, this study quantifies the copper transformation behavior during sintering process. Results indicate crystallochemical incorporation of hazardous through formation aluminate spinel (CuAl2O4) and cuprous (CuAlO2). quantify reveal reaction sequences, CuO was mixed with γ-Al2O3 α-Al2O3 precursors fired at 1050–1150 °C for 15–180 min. The sintered products were examined X-ray diffraction (XRD), transformations into both phases quantitatively determined Rietveld refinement analysis XRD data. When used, CuAlO2 predominately generated from CuAl2O4 decomposition. However, largely by interaction between α-Al2O3. This also compared precursor systems observed relatively slower decomposition in system. reoxi...
