摘要: The emergence of constructivist epistemology, as the dominant educational philosophy, has been very influential on current movement to improve quality education. NSW seen establishment Institute Teachers (NSW Government, 2004a), development and publication a generic set standards for teaching Teachers, 2005a) implementation Quality Teaching model pedagogy since 2003. In mathematics education, philosophies that are consistent with constructivism, reflected in previous syllabus documents well document published by Australian Association Mathematics 2002. Within context these this research project investigated my efforts, novice teacher primary school mathematics, implement teaching. This evolved from Bachelor Education honours project, which found despite recently graduating university preservice courses advocate based learning theories, beginning teachers, along their more experienced colleagues, use largely traditional methodologies From narrative analysis experience, it is aim demonstrate ways support might be implemented teachers subject area mathematics.
