摘要: A non-hardening, solvent removable hydrophobic conformal coating is provided for electronic devices, such as printed circuit boards. The material comprises a metal alkyl benzyl sulfonate, together with carrier and solvent. sulfonate may include compounds calcium eicosanylbenzyl sulfonate. be any oxidized hydrocarbon, lauryl ethanoxylate, example, the low boiling aliphatic hydrocarbon. Though impervious to water, it readily selectively removed using small quantity of non-polar organic solvent, mineral spirits or terpenes. Thus, although device protected from corrosion, electromigration physical harm by coating, easily, quickly in event component needs replacement, repair adjustment.
