摘要: The Buffalo District, Corps of Engineers’ Lake Erie Wastewater Management Study and Heidelberg College's Water Quality Laboratory supported a tributary water quality monitoring program from 1974 to 1980 the major United States tributaries Erie. This was designed measure nutrient loads by concentration changes occurring in association with increased streamflow. Soluble orthophosphate loads, chloride silica decreased 1970 1980. Nitrogen species were highly variable over period. Total phosphorus have during period as result removal at wastewater treatment plants. effect reductions can be seen lake concentrations predicted three-basin budget model developed early 1970s. results show that programs are having on quality.
