摘要: The wild boar (Sus scrofa) is an exotic agent of disturbance that arrived in the Nacunan Reserve Argentina 1980s. When foraging, overturns extensive areas soil leaving them bare vegetation. Knowledge scarce about boar's impact on vegetation composition and properties Monte Desert, Argentina. objective our study was to determine short terms effects rooting physical, chemical microbiological properties. Our results indicate activities significantly reduced plant cover herbs, perennial grasses shrubs, decreased richness diversity. Disturbed soils showed less compaction, more moisture, a low C/N ratio, high content mineral nitrogen. These new characteristics could be responsible for bulk density, which increase degradation by wind erosion.
