摘要: To date, the time trends of left-to-right shift colorectal cancer incidence have been reported in Western countries. In present study, we calculated average annual number and age-adjusted rates, examined change subsite distribution using data from Osaka Cancer Registry between 1974 2003. Mucosal carcinoma cases were excluded analyses. The proportions right colon among all consistently increased; 21.5% 1974– 78 to 25.6% 1999–2003 men, 28.2% 1974–78 36.8% women. rates men women recently levelled off, while left rectal cancers showed a declining trend. Among women, was more common elderly than young. seemed be associated with population aging, changes life style development total colonoscopy. Careful monitoring is necessary confirm these findings.
