摘要: Abstract The utilization of most legumes for human consumption in the present day is low relative to cereal crops. Winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC.) a valuable legume due presence soybean-equivalent nutrients. Early work identified that winged has favorable agronomic features suitable cultivation tropics with high average yield, and foods prepared from serve as an effective measure meet protein demand consumer. seed oil meets all required edibility parameters comparable any other good-quality edible on market. Recent utilizing genomic, transcriptomic metabolomic data are starting reveal more about this crop, meaning it now easier genetically improve plant further utilization. This review reports efforts undertaken underway improvement crop cultivation, commercialization perspectives.
