摘要: Herein, a nanosized Mn oxide/boron nitride composite is reported as catalyst for water oxidation. This study interesting because boron one of the most stable and inert compounds can form new with oxides. The was synthesized using straightforward simple procedure characterized, showing that supported Mn(III,IV) oxide on nitride. water-oxidizing activity studied in presence cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate photoproduced Ru(bpy)33+ oxidants. optimized calcined at 200–300 °C showed turnover frequency 0.15 (mmolO2/s−1 molMn−1) nitrate.
