Reaching the rural poor : a renewed strategy for rural development

摘要: The world confronts major challenges in rural development as it enters the 21st century. Most of world's poverty is areas, and will remain so, yet there a pro-urban bias most countries' strategies, their allocation public investment funds. Rural people, ethnic minorities, particular, have little political clout to influence policy attract more areas.
