摘要: Mammalian spermatogenesis, which takes place in complex testicular structures called seminiferous tubules, is a highly specialized process controlled by the integration of juxtacrine, paracrine and endocrine information. Within germ cells Sertoli are surrounded fluid (TF), probably contains most secreted proteins involved crosstalk between these cells. It has already been established that can modulate somatic cell function through secretion diffusible factors. We studied secretome, was previously considered inaccessible, analyzing TF collected microsurgery an "integrative omics" strategy combining proteomics, transcriptomics, genomics interactomics data. This approach identified set preferentially or An interaction network analysis revealed complex, interlaced cell-cell dialog secretome membranome cells, mediated via TF. then focused on cell-secreted candidate proteins, we several potential interacting partners located surface Two interactions, APOH/CDC42 APP/NGFR, were validated situ, proximity ligation assay (PLA). Our results provide new insight into occurring during spermatogenesis. findings also demonstrate this powerful enough for data mining highlighting meaningful communication events different types tissue, biological fluid. integrative could be applied more widely, to gain access secretomes have proved difficult study whilst avoiding limitations vitro culture.
