摘要: This paper describes the mathematical investigation of effect sensor geometry, i.e. pixel size and fill ratio, on performance PIV interrogation. Two sub-pixel estimators are investigated: particle-image centroid, Gaussian peak fit. It is found that no bias errors occur when diameter at least two pixels, measurement error determined by random only. When particle images much smaller than one pixel, an irrecoverable signal loss deteriorates performance. For intermediate resolutions same magnitude as errors. demonstrated image blurring de-focussing reduces error, but increases error. The analysis shows sensors with a high ratio have better
