摘要: Transaction management in different application contexts is still a challenging task. In this paper we propose novel method order to improve concurrency of particular kind transaction, known as long running transactions. Differ- ently from other techniques presented the literature, design sort hybrid approach between optimistic and pessimistic models. From one hand, our basic idea consists taking into account frequent disconnections or inactivity periods generic transaction during its life-cycle and, one, consider semantics related operations produced by Our solution avoid an indefinite resource locking due disconnecting (or idle) transactions high rate preventive aborts; eventually, semantic compatibility exploited increase reconcilable on same resources. To these purposes, have implemented middleware with aims emulating transactional scheduling, several experiments been carried out.
