Sharpening the shape distribution of gold nanoparticles by laser irradiation

摘要: This work reports on the optical response and morphological changes of gold nanoparticles (NPs) induced by laser irradiation with single nanosecond pulses different fluences wavelengths. The as-grown specimens consist irregularly shaped NPs (10–13nm in average dimensions) produced pulsed deposition a substrate. They exhibit broad absorption band related to surface plasmon resonance (SPR) peaking range 634–685nm.
