摘要: Patients suffering from recurrent tonsillitis (RT), hyperplastic (HT) or idiopathic tonsillar hyperplasia (ITH) were compared in immunological studies with subjects showing clinically normal palatine tonsils. Serum concentrations of immunoglobulins, particularly IgG, increased association tonsillitis. Conversely, the number IgG-, IgA- and IgM-producing immunocytes was reduced per tissue unit. The density such cells decreased germinal centres lymphoid follicles, extrafollicular areas reticular parts crypt epithelium. However, only small changes immunocyte class ratios observed, excepting a significantly raised proportion IgD-producing cells. immunohistochemical results indicated defect function associated disease, perhaps as result inadequate stimulatory signals for local maturation B-cell clones. An influence low age on this HT ITH groups could not be excluded. In RT group there significant negative correlation between IgA-producing rate synthesis serum IgA. This may indicate that compensatory mechanisms are reflected inversely related levels systemic IgA synthesis.
