摘要: Long-term electrocardiographic and physiological monitoring over a period lasting up to several years in duration can be provided through continuously-recording subcutaneous insertable cardiac monitor (ICM). The sensing circuitry the physical layout of electrodes are specifically optimized capture electrical signals from propagation low amplitude, relatively frequency content action potentials, particularly P-waves that generated during atrial activation. ICM is intended implanted centrally positioned axially slightly either left or right sternal midline parasternal region chest, with at least one ECG being disposed for overlying sternum adjacent other also on patient's chest.
