摘要: Abstract In this paper, the eigenfrequencies of rotating laminated composite (LC) and sandwich microbeams with different boundary conditions (BCs) are studied. The size-dependent variational formulation problem is obtained based on Modified Couple Stress Theory (MCST) by employing a transverse shear-normal deformable beam theory finite element method (FEM) formulation. convergence verification studies developed code carried out computed results in terms dimensionless fundamental frequencies (DFFs) compared available ones open literature. Various BCs, aspect ratios, fiber orientation angles, thickness to material length scale parameter (MLSP) core face layer rotation speeds (DRSs) hub ratios employed for extensive analyses. It found that DFFs LC highly affected small size effect accompanying orthotropy DRSs, angles. clamped-clamped more pronounced than those clamped-free microbeams. ratio has significant speed.
