摘要: The alkaline intrusion of Morro Preto, located to the north Piranhas (GO), is an irregular subcircular rock body with about 3,34 km², hosted in gneisses Goias Magmatic Arc. It chiefly constituted by carbonatites and lamprophyres several degrees laterization silicification, as well silexites minor contents ferruginous syenites basalts. Chemically, it shows low concentrations Cs, K, Na, Rb high REE, Nb, Ba, Th U. This probably due processes laterization/silicification, new rare mineral phases formed, i.e., phosphates concentration REE Th, oxi-hydroxides Fe, Ba Mn, and/or siliceous Ta, among others, barite formation. Carbonatitic rocks P2O5 expressive enrichment suggests possible mineralization these components, similar other complexes (Catalao) Minas Gerais (Araxa). distribution minor, trace elements show that are alteration products alcaline igneous carbonatites, basalts, once naturally enriched U, (in special LREE), Nb Ta. excessively results from supergene hydrothermal temperature.
